Alfa Romeo's fastest models are now easier to work on. KESS3 Upgrade 3.54, with Powergate support, adds an OBD protocol for the Bosch MED17.3.5 ECU.
After you unlock the ECU once by opening it and applying the dedicated patch, you can work directly through the diagnostic port on the Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio with the 2.9 twin-turbo V6.
OBD gives quicker access to programming and joins the bench and boot modes KESS3 already supported. Powergate also lets you extend the service to the owner and manage jobs on these performance cars remotely.
