The S58 3.0 twin-turbo is one of the most sought-after engines in BMW tuning, and KESS3 Upgrade 3.62 makes it easier to work on. You can now read and write the protected Bosch MG1CS049 ECU over OBD on BMW M and Alpina models with the S58.
The first step is a bench unlock with the dedicated patch. Once that is done, you read and write through the diagnostic port without going back to the bench.
Support extends to Powergate, Alientech's owner-side device. You manage the files remotely, and the customer reads and writes over OBD with up to four modified files using the device and app.
