KESS3 Upgrade 3.39, with Powergate support, lets you work over OBD on Continental GPEC4LM ECUs straight through the diagnostic port. Reading and writing the engine computer takes fewer steps, so reprogramming is quicker.
The new protocol joins the existing boot mode and covers gas and hybrid engines such as the 1.0 and 1.3 FireFly, the 1.5 48V Hybrid and Hybrid VGT and the 3.6 Pentastar V6, in city cars, sedans and SUVs built from 2016 to today for the main global markets.
