Flex owners now have plenty of ways to unlock Bosch MDG1 ECUs themselves, but Magic Motorsport hasn't dropped its own lab service. Ready For Tuning (RFT) is fully up and running and keeps adding the latest Flex-supported ECUs.
DIY or hand it off
With a Flex Full Master (FLS0.5M) or Flex Full Slave (FLS0.5S) license and an active subscription, you can already unlock supported ECUs at your own bench using Magic Motorsport's newest procedures. RFT is still there for the times you'd rather let the company's specialists do the unlock.
When RFT makes sense
- You'd rather not open the ECU
- You don't want to desolder parts or solder onto the circuit board
- You're still building confidence with ECU connections or procedures
- You want to keep the risk of the job as low as possible
- You don't have a Flex Full license
- You prefer to leave premium ECUs to Magic Motorsport's technicians
Magic Motorsport says every unit sent to its labs is handled with professional procedures and great care. It comes back unlocked and ready for programming with Flex.

- Request Ready For Tuning from your Magic Motorsport account.
- Ship the ECU to the Magic Motorsport lab.
- Their technical team carries out the unlock.
- The ECU is returned to you, ready to program with Flex.
Who can use it
Flex Full Master and Flex Full Slave customers with an active subscription can book RFT directly, with no extra license to buy. If you have an active subscription but not Flex Full, you can either buy the one-time RFT license or upgrade to Flex Full.
What it costs
Each unlock on the RFT list is priced at 300 Green Coins. Green Coins are the currency for all of Magic Motorsport's technical services, RFT included. Flex Master customers with an active subscription receive 300 Green Coins every month, which is enough for one RFT unlock at no extra cost. You can buy more Green Coins whenever you need them through the Magic Motorsport Helpdesk.
