Tuning has taken another big step. The newest Magic Motorsport FLEX update, version 7.14.0.0, lets professional tuners unlock and remap Bosch MG1CS031 ECUs over OBD, getting past the advanced anti-tuning protection on VAG 2.0L TFSI vehicles.
No more pulling the ECU or bench tuning: a direct OBD connection now handles safe, efficient programming, which streamlines the whole job.
Which Cars It Covers
The update extends FLEX to a range of high-performance gasoline models, including:
- Audi S3 2.0L TFSI (310 PS, about 306 hp)
- Volkswagen Golf R 2.0L TFSI (320 PS, about 316 hp)
- Cupra Formentor VZ 2.0L TFSI (310 PS, about 306 hp)
- Skoda Octavia vRS 2.0L TFSI (245 PS, about 242 hp)
These cars were previously locked down by sophisticated anti-tuning measures; now you can reach them through the OBD port for performance tuning, economy remaps and custom calibrations.

It follows the earlier FLEX update that enabled OBD reading and writing for Bosch MD1CS014 ECUs in VAG 3.0L TDI vehicles. Together, the two releases greatly widen the range of vehicles you can tune safely and efficiently over OBD.
Use these advances to stay ahead and give your customers outstanding service and performance.
