The West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS) 2025 in Lagos, Nigeria, was more than an exhibition; it made a point. Tuning, training and technology aren't limited to traditional markets, performance and sustainability can and should go together, and Viezu is committed to shaping automotive innovation across borders.
Making an Impression at WAAS
Chris Carter and Matthew Levin, both experienced automotive tuning and diagnostics professionals, represented Viezu at the show. Our compact, sleek stand featured KESS3, ECM Titanium, AutoTuner, Magic Motorsport FLEX, EVC WinOLS and training from the Viezu Technical Academy, with a clear goal: open doors, start conversations, and bring our industry-leading tools and support to a region full of opportunity.
As Chris put it:
"Representing Viezu at WAAS 2025 was a real honour, showcasing tuning to the West African market and raising awareness of a service which has great potential and which can contribute to sustainability in the Automotive sector was an exciting project to be involved in. Nigeria has a vibrant and varied atmosphere and is a real growth market – Viezu are perfectly placed to offer product advice as well as industry leading training and support, allowing business in the region to flourish."

Lessons From the Show Floor
Across the show we met garage owners, dealers and tech-minded founders from every corner of West Africa, and the message was consistent: people want to learn tuning. Many businesses already grasp the basics but lack dependable access to modern tools, structured training and technical aftercare. That's exactly where the Viezu Technical Academy comes in, with online and in-person courses that teach you to use the wide range of tools we supply, move on to more advanced tuning methods, and even learn the science of writing your own custom files.

What's Next for Us in West Africa
Lagos was a first step, not a one-off. Talking with visitors gave us plenty to think about: tool options suited to local needs, easier routes into training, and deeper cooperation with the people already working in the region. We're exploring what a meaningful presence and partnership could look like in West Africa, and we're looking forward to building on the show's momentum in ways that make sense for the businesses we met.
Want to Be Part of It?
We came home from WAAS energized and inspired, and excited to play a part in the future of motoring in West Africa.

Yes, and for the long haul. Tools, ECU files or training, help comes through WhatsApp, our online resources and technical backup direct from our UK headquarters.
I'm in Nigeria. Can I still get a KESS3?
You can. We ship to any country, and we're building relationships with resellers and representatives inside the region. Tell us which vehicles fill your bays and we'll suggest the right setup.
What vehicles can your tools handle?
A broad spread of Japanese, European and commercial models, including West African favorites like the Toyota Hilux, Hiace and Land Cruiser, among many others.
